RM StyleMama – Una Battaglia – Quality Time with 4 kids

This week’s StyleMama, who has 4 kids under the age of 7, not only manages to stay sane but works hard to carve out quality time with each one of her children. “Having 4 kids requires a lot of management, especially when each child has a different personality and needs. In order not to get caught up with running a household but enjoying my family, I ensure that I schedule one on one time with each child, as well as my husband. Sometimes this means I have to limit my personal free time with friends.  These are small sacrifices but it allows me to feel more connected to my family.”

Children: 4 kids – 7- year-old girl, 5-year-old boy, 4-year-old boy, & 2 year-old boy

How does she look so darn good?
Una enjoys spending some of her free time exercising.  She does CATZ (Complete Athletic Training Zone) once or twice a week, and jogs 3 times a week for 20 minutes.  She walks her three older kids to school every day and takes them ice skating once a week.  She is not overly pre-occupied with her eating habits but tries to get her daily intake of fruits and vegetables. Una feels it is important to eat dinner early and with her family.  Although her husband is usually not able to join them for a family dinner, she eats every evening with her 4 children at 5pm. If she gets hungry before bed, she may snack on something healthy. She also looks forward to having a little green tea to relax after she gets the kids in bed.
