This week’s StyleMama looks like a supermodel but loves to eat out and has a husband who’s a killer cook! Is her lean physique all genetics? Shannon Hay Seeberan says she compensates for her evening feasts with her family by eating a simple breakfast and low-cal lunch. She also works out 5-6 times a week. The regular fitness regime allows her to feel better in her clothes and good about herself. She believes that making yourself a priority once in awhile is the secret to being a happy person, and even more important, a happy mom.
Home: New York City for the last 10 years (Originally from Wisconsin)
Children: Two boys (4- year-old & 2 year-old)
Occupation: The National Ad Director for a small publishing company.
How does she look so damn good?
If Shannon has a quiet day at work, she tries to squeeze in a workout at her gym during lunch. Alternatively, she works out before the kids wake-up or after they’ve gone to bed. Right now, her exercise routine revolves around doing a workout with a Tracy Anderson video 5- 6 times a week. However, she’s quite content to throw her 2-year-old on the back of her bike and go for a ride or run alongside her 4-year-old as he charges along with his scooter.
What’s she wearing?
Top: Club Monaco
Necklace : A creation my 4-year-old made at camp!
Shoes: Sam Edelman
Bag: Proenza Schouler
Watch: Husband’s Rolex
“My style is effortless chic. I don’t want people gawking at me because my style is so unique. I want my clothes to look flattering with simple lines. You won’t see me wearing any bright colors as I tend to wear a lot of muted tones like black and grey. “ – Shannon Seeberan
