RM StyleMama: Maria Villamil – Building Dreams
This week’s StyleMama, Maria Villamil, is a computer professional who oversees the research and development, construction, Information Technology, and manufacturing of WET for its internationally recognized water installations. While her work may seem mechanical to some, she works hard to highlight to her daughters the marriage between science and building dreams. “I get them involved in solving problems and doing experiments that are related to my work. I try to enforce the concept that if one can dream something up, then it can be done,” says Maria.

Her Style:
“My full time look (except on the weekends) tends to be feminine. I try to be comfortable with the dresses that I wear. I love Diane von Furstenberg’s wrap dresses. I like mixing classic good quality accessories like designer handbags and shoes with affordable dresses like my black Zara dress. I like vintage style dresses, preferably the feminine 50s or 60s dresses. I mix and match them with modern accessories like belts, jewelry, and shoes.” – Maria Villamil
