This week’s StyleMama, Leigh Diana, has superwoman status in my books. She has 8 weeks to go in her pregnancy, but still manages to make quality time with her husband, spend time with her daughter, hit the gym everyday, and work a full-time job. She says the trick to staying on top of everything is that she is meticulous at scheduling. That means scheduling dinner with her husband after her daughter goes to bed. She says, “It drives my husband crazy that I plan every minute of the day, but if I didn’t we wouldn’t have as much quality time as a family or as a couple.”
Hometown: New York
Children: 1 girl – 22 months & pregnant with 8 weeks to go
Occupation: Mom & Food Director for a small publishing company
How does she look so darn good?
Despite nearing the end of her pregnancy, Leigh manages to make it to the gym 5 days a week before her daughter gets up. She says her hour long workouts help her maintain her stress levels. As for eating habits, she thanks her husband for cooking up healthy well-balanced dinners. She says he also sends her off in the morning with a great breakfast. One key take away from her daily regime that I thought was useful is that Leigh always packs her own snacks for the day, which prevents her from choosing something unhealthy on the run.
What is she wearing?
Jeans: Non-maternity with Bella Band
Shoes: Michael Kors
Scarf: Club Monaco
Bag: Marc Jacobs
Necklace: Tendenza & Monmartre
Watch: Michael Kors
“My style is comfortable and casual. I like to take simple outfits and pair them with great accessories. In the summer, I’m big on dresses because you don’t have to put much thought into them.” – Leigh Diana
