During my time in New York, Gabriela von Pfetten was the girl to know. She re-styled me, got me past the velvet ropes, and we enjoyed evenings out in the company of celebrities. But my fondest memory is of her helping me pack up my Brooklyn apartment and sleeping on my bare floor, so I didn’t have to spend my last night in NY alone. And now as we navigate motherhood together, South Beach and parties with JLO have been exchanged for toilet training stories and reading lists for preschoolers. But I still rely on my friend and fellow RebelMom for advice on my wardrobe as she’s one of those people who looks gorgeous taking the dog for a walk.
She has agreed to share her inspirations and clothing recommendations as a RebelMom Contributer and we’re excited to have her on-board. This week she shares some of her favorite fall picks.

The wedge was made popular by Salavatore Ferragamo in 1936 and it doesn’t appear to be leaving anytime soon. The sexy shoe continues to be a favorite season after season, giving height while being more comfortable than your average heel.
The season’s must have pants are rich colorful chords and if its ankle length, as seen on all the Paris runways this week, even better. Oh, and the color of the moment is definitely “red”.
Hope you didn’t throw away your fringe boho chic bag from when Sienna Miller first made it a popular accessory item, because every stylish LA celeb is carrying one on her shoulder making this a “must-have” for fall.
Gabriela von Pfetten gave up her West Village apartment in New York for the beauty and tranquility of Vancouver. She loves combing through vintage stores, and supporting new designers. She is bold with color and never shies away from new trends. She believes one can put a great wardrobe together whether you shop at Target or Chloe. She says it’s less about the clothing and more about the woman and the confidence she carries.
