RM Music Feature – Trans-Continental Hustle

This may sound like an album that your grandparents may listen to, but don’t let the name fool you. Trans-Continental Hustle by gypsy punk band, Gogol Bordello, is the fifth album for this once unknown group. Rick Rubin, President of Columbia Records, heard them in concert and decided to produce this latest album, so expect them to get a lot of radio play!

Trans-Continental Hustle by Gogol Bordello

“Infamous for stuffing everything from punk to flamenco into its globe-shaped stewpot, the sprawling ensemble has released a body of work that practically oozes eclecticism.” - Jason Heller, The A.V. Club

“For the most part it sticks to that trusted voodoo formula and through Gogol Bordello they achieve another raucous record with summer in its heart, with life coursing through its full blooded songs. It’s natural born festival music, music for dancing, for head thrown back laughing. Music for losing your mind, music for life.”Vyvian Raoul, Drowned in Sound
