Just for Me: The 12 Minute Exercise Routine

If someone told you that you could feel like you worked out for an hour after a 12 minute excercise routine would you do it? RebelMom Contributor Meghan Thompson turned me on to Metafit. It’s a killer workout created by a Royal Marine Commando that will make you sweat like a dog, burn calories, and tone. ┬áThe best part is that it’s available for free online and you don’t require any equipment, so you can try it out and see if it’s for you. For this particular workout you’ll do a combination of 4 groups of exercises and you’ll do 3 repetitions of each group. Below is an example of how you would proceed with each group of exercises:

Repeat this series 3 times: (20 seconds of back lunges) + (10 seconds off) + (20 seconds of press ups) + (10 seconds off)

Repeat this series 3 times: (20 seconds of sumo jump) + (10 seconds off) + (20 seconds of two step dash) + (10 seconds off)

Repeat this series 3 times: (20 seconds of hill climb) + (10 seconds off) + (20 seconds of side lunge) + (10 seconds off)

Repeat this series 3 times: (20 seconds of Hop Hands) + (10 seconds off) + (20 seconds of Burpees) + (10 seconds off)
